The final wave of artists adds 22 new acts to the program, including Ally Row, Geoff Achison, The Heavy Kicks and the Sammy Owen Blues Band.
They join previously announced headliners such as 19Twenty, Sweet Talk, and 8 Ball Aitken in what promises to be one of the largest celebrations of Australian blues and roots music in recent years.
Festival music programmer Jon Howell emphasises the festival’s commitment to showcasing Australian talent.
“This year’s line-up is a true showcase of the incredible depth and diversity in Australian blues and roots music and selecting just 60 artists from over 300 has been a difficult task,” he said.
“The talent on display is world-class — from emerging voices such as Kathleen Halloran, FOOLS and Sweet Talk, to seasoned performers like Geoff Achison, Liza Ohlback and Phil Para, every artist brings something amazing to the stage.”
The free festival will feature performances across more than 20 venues throughout Echuca-Moama.
This year’s event marks the return of the Homegrown program, which highlights local and regional artists, and the Sherridon Homes Family Space in Hopwood Gardens, offering family entertainment on Saturday and Sunday.
“It's been an absolute pleasure working with the Echuca-Moama community to bring this program to life,” Mr Howell said.
“The way this town gets behind the festival is what makes Winter Blues so special.”
The festival, supported by local businesses, community partners, and national initiatives like Revive Live, continues to deliver economic, cultural, and social benefits to the region.
Seasoned blues performer Geoff Achison announced as part of the full line-up at the Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival.
