The Seymour Performers Workshop 2020 season features a jam-packed calendar of productions and events.

Kicking off the line-up is the SPW comedy night on March 14 at the Schoolhouse Theatre in Seymour, featuring local comedians Jai Cameron and Ryan Smith and hosted by David Rak.
Also at the Schoolhouse Theatre, March 15 will see a performance by renowned wind chamber music group Oxalis Wind Quintet.
Other highlights this year will include two workshop sessions aimed at developing musical theatre skills.
One of Australia's leading performers and educators Rachael Beck, whose credits include Belle in Beauty and the Beast with Hugh Jackman, Fantine in Les Miserables and the TV sitcom Hey Dad!, will bring her Stage To Screen Triple Threat Workshop to Seymour in May.
There will also be a musical theatre bootcamp held in April for younger performers.
Other productions include a Jazz and Blues night, a bush poetry and musical soiree evening and in October, Welded Shut Productions will present the play Lines.
The always popular That’s Entertainment trivia night and the Seymour One Act Play Festival will also feature in the line-up.
Rounding off the year is the major musical Godspell which will hit the stage at the Seymour Community Arts Centre in November.
The 2012 revival version was a smash hit on Broadway and features an eclectic musical score that draws on rock, pop, folk, gospel and vaudeville influences.
