At last month's Hardcore Promotions four-man eliminator event in Melbourne, local trainer Kiw Eikkasit fought off his other competitors to win the top prize.
Eikkasit's victory didn't come easy after going through fights of three x three minute rounds, with rounds increasing to five minutes in the final.
Having turned 38 prior to the event, Eikkasit knew he would have to been in some of the best shape of his life if he was to be successful.
In the eight weeks leading up to the competition, Eikkasit under took a strenuous training program to ensure he could fight against the younger competitors and he was pleased with what he was able to achieve.Â
