Penny, a visitor from Morwell, rolled up as well and was a very good player and had a great day.
The winner for Friday was Dave Hocking who won all his games. Dave also got two hoops-in-one.
Jan Tracy also got a hoop-in-one and trying to track down Dave, she just missed out on the last hoop.
Monday saw another good roll up, with 12 members taking to the courts.
The day started off cold but turned warm with some sunshine peeking through.
Winner for the day was Trevor Peters, winning all three games with a nett hoop score of plus 11.
Runner-up was Jan Tracy, who won her three games with a net hoop score of plus 8.
Jump shots: Winners were Beryl Ash with one, Glenda Kelly with one and ‘Jumping’ Johnnie Tarrant, although a little bit off line today, managed to get one as well.
Hoops-in-one: Winners were Glenda Kelly with one and boy, did she get excited when she got it. There was plenty of laughter and screams. Mavis Peters got one but wasn’t as good as Glenda’s. Better luck next time. Good luck to all croquet players for next week.
Ten members are travelling over to Shepparton for Christmas in July, with the club wishing them all the best in the event.
