The courts looked magnificent as 16 players wove their croquet magic. After three games of doubles, it was Doc Ryant who triumphed over Ian Walshe by one hoop.
In the Deni/Rich River Challenge, the scores for both matches were very close with only a handful of hoops separating the teams.
In Deniliquin it was the Deni Kookaburras 6-70 who were victorious over Rich River Emus 6-64, while at home Rich River Kangas 6-73 defeated Deni Rosellas 6-68.
The Deni Kookaburras sit atop the ladder on 68 points with a record of four wins and one loss.
Deni Rosellas are next with 63 points on three wins and two losses.
Rich River Kangas have 49 points — also on three wins and two losses — while the Rich River Emus have 20 points and are yet to win a game.
Tuesday, November 30:
Twenty-two players were on hand to test their skills in three games of doubles.
Three players managed to win all three games: Russ Smyth, Ian Grant, and Alex Adkins, with Ian winning the day and Russ the runner-up.

Eighteen members and guests enjoyed three games in warm, sunny conditions.
The big winner for the day was our newest member Rolly Griffiths, winning three games with a +6.
The other winner for the day was Mavis Peters with two jump shots and a hoop-in-one.
The Moama Bakery coffee voucher was presented to both winners.
Also scoring a jump shot each were Jenny van der Zande, Beryl Ash, and Trevor Peters.
