Cassandra Millerick and Olivia Cartwright became the 90th and 92nd female players to don the green and gold, receiving their Jackaroo caps in Scotland, where the pair competed in the Right at Home Australian Jackaroos’ test tour of Scotland.
A dominant day three in Scotland on October 7 saw the Right at Home Jackaroos seal victory in their test series against Scotland with a day to spare.
Commencing the day on the perfect note, the Australians were able to win seven of the eight contests in the morning session before splitting the ledger with their northern rivals in session two.
The third fixture saw Australia edge further ahead with five wins and two draws, before the next hour saw Scotland peg the margin back with a quartet of wins to go with their draw.
In the most competitive day of the tour, Australia was able to respond in quick fashion in the penultimate exchange, conquering six of the eight match-ups before adding five salutations in the concluding session to put the result beyond doubt.
The Right at Home Jackaroos wrapped up their test series the following day, October 8, dominating the scoreboard to extend their lead.
The final tally for the series ended with Australia on 454.5 points, 243 points ahead of Scotland’s 211.5 points, with a shot difference of 769.
