In a top-of-the-table clash Echuca drew level with Elmore on points, after picking up a 21-run win at Moon Oval at Rochester.
Batting first Echuca posted a balanced 7-152, led by Liam Beasley (38) and Ky Henson (28), the best of four batters to pass 20.
Elmore kept the scoring from getting out of hand through good spells from Tyler Oliver (2-29) and Matt Gilmour (2-31).
Elmore looked like it might get home in a canter when Gilmour (46) and Matthew Woolley (36) had the Redbacks at 1-87, but once the partnership was broken the innings fell apart with it and the chase was cut short at 131.
Echuca remains behind Elmore on quotient, but has a game in hand after an earlier bye.
Rushworth put in a good bowling effort in defence of 172, but Kyabram Fire Brigade found its way past the Tigers’ total.
The Rushworth innings struggled through the middle overs, but Liam Francis (42) eventually found a willing partner in number eight Jac Barrett (45) and the two set the platform for the decent total.
Oliver Barnett was strong with the ball for the Flames, leading the way with 3-19.
In a contrasting innings, Fire Brigade started well through a second-inning partnership between Brett Andison (47) and Lachlan Carver (54) and, although the innings fell off late, the Flames had enough wickets in the sheds to reach 7-178.
At Cooma the host surged past BLU’s total of 157, making the runs in just more than 24 overs.
Cameron Laird (44) and Alex McAndrew combined for the third wicket to set up BLU’s total, but there was little accomplished by the rest of the batting order.
Ethan Palma-Ludeman struck often for Cooma, taking 4-16, while Liam Scopelliti posted 3-19.
Scopelliti backed up to open the batting and blasted 97 unbeaten from 76 as his side easily got home for an eight-wicket win.
Colbinabbin forfeited its tie with Stanhope, while Moama had the bye.
