The Deniliquin Croquet Club hosted its double championships at the Charlotte St courts on Sunday, with 16 players taking part.

The final saw John James and Frank Conallin come up against Andy Davis and Brian Dudley.

The Davis and Dudley pair were the winners.

On Wednesday, only eight players turned up, and Alan Higgins won all three of his games.

Jump shots were achieved by Alan Higgins and Brad Fawns.

In pennant news, the Deni team had a win last week in round three, and is now in third place with 33 points.

They played in Numurkah yesterday against the Euroa Wombats.

Playing in the team were John James, Mary James, Fred Littman and Trevor David.

Play was continuing as the Pastoral Times went to print, so results will be provided next week.
