Reigning Campaspe weekend pennant premiers Tongala rebounded from last weekend’s defeat to Echuca with a big win over Moama in division one.

Tonny claimed full points from the clash with all three rinks up in the 42-shot victory over the Steamers out at Tongala, the squad's second win of the season.
The home side was clinical on its home green and will now head into the Christmas break with momentum at it’s back.

Brad Tinning’s rink fired Tongala to the perfect start, claiming a first-up win over Rob Young 27-18.
Tinning currently stands as the top skip in the Campaspe Playing Area with four unbeaten rinks and a shot difference of 57, but this time it was Jarryd Tinning’s rink that did the damage, winning 35-18 in a blistering display of bowls.

Greg Lyon was a victor in the final rink with a 22-10 victory, rounding out a superb display from Tongala.
Victory squares the ledger for Tongala at two wins and two defeats, sitting in third spot behind the Steamers heading into the competition break.

Round 10 will see Tongala face Deniliquin in a bid to keep up their good form, while Moama will travel to Mathoura in the hopes of rebounding quickly.
