Hort provided three sessions with a development group, advanced group and a parents’ coaching clinic.
Deniliquin Junior Lawn Tennis Club co-president Eliza Eastman said the parents’ clinic was an initiative to provide tips to parent volunteers who help with coaching throughout our summer season.
Hort had some local coaching assistance during the clinics, from Jack McGrillen and Tomoko Niwa.
All attendees were treated to a barbecue lunch.
“The clinic provided a great opening for the upcoming season, with the junior Hot Shots program and match play competition commencing this Saturday morning,” Eastman said.
“We have nearly 100 registrations and are looking forward to a great season of tennis ahead.”
