Local players were expecting to get a good practice session in as part of the Coleambally six-a-side tournament on Sunday, but it had to be cancelled due to the heat.
The Coleambally contingent that play in 1st grade for Exies Eagles in Griffith are scheduled to play a one-day match this Saturday from 3.30pm in Griffith against Leeton, weather permitting.
As for the Coleambally Nomads sides, second grade also resumes this week and third grade have another week off.
The second grade Nomads are the second placed side on the ladder, and are set to host the fourth-placed Exies Eagles from 1pm on Saturday.
They will be looking to bounce back from their only loss of the season so far, to Griffith Leagues Club Panthers by 109 runs two weeks ago.
The third grade Nomabds are back on the pitch on February 5.
