In the match of the round, Misfits proved too strong for P*ssheads beating them 9-2 to finish on top of the ladder, in doing so winning the right to a home 2nd semi-final.
26 Jets won their match against Pastoral Phoenix 9-2 to ensure their place in the four and in the final match, that determined who would play in the finals, Hasbeens had a nervy 6-5 win over Double Trouble.
Both teams needed to win to determine who would finish 3rd, with the loser slipping to 5th and out of finals contention.
Individual Highlights
Again, it was Jo Hadley throwing the most tons with 12, which also included the highest peg with a massive 120 out shot.
There were two 180’s; Cody Johns and Michael Bajowski.
Michael continued to show that he is our leading player, with an average of 24.44 and the shortest game in 17 darts.
He also had a 19-dart and a 20-dart game.
Division Two
Unfortunately, Cockadoos had to forfeit to Pastoral Pirates, which in turn ensured the Pirates 3rd place in the four.
Sore & Achey snuck over the line with a 6-5 win to deny Dart Devils a win for the season.
In the all-important match to decide who would finish on top, The Recyclables fell to Pastoral Warriors 6-5 which only put them level with Ocheholics.
Warriors were able to sneak into the four thanks to the Cockadoos forfeiting.
Individual Highlights
The standout players in 2nd division were Rob Molnar and Chris Gritty.
Chris had the best average with 16.98 and the shortest game in 17 darts, while Rob had the most tons with 7.
Incidentally, Rob was runner-up to Chris in both the shortest game and highest average categories.
Rod Brown hit the highest out shot with a mighty 86 peg, his teammate Chris Williams hit an 80 peg.

Barham Yogi Lewis Memorial Tournament
The EMDA league team played in the Barham ‘Yogi Lewis Memorial’ Tournament over the weekend.
The team consisted of Andrew Beaumont (Captain), Will Broucek, Chris Gritty, Cody Johns and Marcus McKenner.
It was great to have five players all from our league, all in the new league shirts.
The team played well and finished 5th out of 13 teams, winning 7 of the 12 rounds.
The team highlight was beating the team who finished 2nd, with that being their only loss for the whole weekend, denying them the outright win.
Some of the individual highlights were Chris winning 10 of his 12 games and Andrew winning 8 of his 12.
Andrew, Chris and Cody all hit 180’s.
Will was a late inclusion, and it was only Marcus’ second time playing in a weekend tournament.
Both played well and were very close to winning a few more round games each.
The next tournament weekend is the Gold Fossickers Cup to be held at Wedderburn on June 5-6, and we’re looking forward to that.
Shepparton Teams Tournament
Shepparton hosted another brilliant tournament.
Ordinarily EMDA would have had a representative team but due to the clash with the Yogi Lewis tournament in Barham we were unable to do so.
However, three of our players, Cal Burt, Dallas Barnstable and Michael Bajowski did attend forming the “Misfits” with a couple of other players, and with great success.
On Saturday, the team went through with a breeze, only dropping two sets for the day.
On Sunday, they took on a couple of very strong teams and were very lucky again, just scraping through in those two games.
The team only dropped another five sets for the day.
The team took out the title, being undefeated over the two days.
The host association, Shepparton, came in second with only one loss and only one leg difference.
