The Eagles were a little slow out of the starting blocks, only edging the Tigers by two in the opening quarter at Echuca South Recreation Reserve, but the host displayed its quality after the break.

United improved its advantage to eight by the main break and was well in control at three-quarter time with a 15-goal lead, before closing things out with its best term of the game to win 55-30.

A positive run of fixtures has broken Krystal Burns' side out of the lower reaches of the ladder and into mid-table, where a battle for the lower finals spots is under way.
United is two games back from sixth as things stand, but with five games to play the side remains mathematically in the hunt.
