The Bloods announced Harney’s return to the Heathcote District Football Netball League club via its social media channels on Tuesday, bringing his two-season stint with United to a close.
The Eagles skipper booted 153 goals across those two seasons after moving from the Bloods in 2022, including 51 last year and 102 goals in a historic 2023 campaign, becoming the third Echuca United player to reach the milestone after Josh Mellington and Leo Tenace.
This comes after 196 games and 369 goals with Elmore before making the shift to Echuca South Reserve, and will now have the opportunity to notch 200 games for the club.
The Bloods finished eighth in 2023 and will be coached by Mick Woolhouse and Nathan Kay next season.
