Monday, October 23
What a great day to play croquet. Seventeen members played three games in perfect conditions.
The winner was Sandra Alstin (3/13), followed by Glenda Kelly 3/16. Sharon Wolfe was third.
One jump shot for the day went to Greg Brierley.
There were four hoops-in-one for the day — two for Glenda Kelly and one each to Lyn Keillor and Peter vanderZande.
Our Monday winner was Sandra Alstin.

Wednesday, October 18
In AC pennant, Rich River hosted Quarry Hill.
Final score saw Quarry Hill 4/91 defeat Rich River RR 2/78.
After a fortnight of croquet, Cherie Lessing was still in form, winning her doubles and singles.
Thursday, October 19
In social croquet, doubles was played by 14 members.
The winner for the day was Helen Smith on a countback from Maree Maher.
Maher also scored a hoop-in-one.
Home-ground advantage played its part in Numurkah’s 7/65 to 5/64 win over Kangas.
Dave Maher won three of four games.
Deni Blue was too good for host Rich River Emus, winning 7/69 to 5/71.
Ian Grant won three of four games.
Tuesday, October 24
Twenty members played doubles.
The winner for the day was Helen Brierley on +13, ahead of runner-up Haydon Watson on +9.
Watson attended one of the Have a Crack at Croquet events earlier this month having not played croquet before.
The final Have a Crack at Croquet will be at 5.30pm on Monday, October 30, for anyone wanting a new experience. Barbecue picnic tea.
