Selection Committee
A message from the chairman of midweek selectors – the selection committee are volunteers who were nominated and accepted nomination at the AGM.
The interest of the bowls club is their primary concern.
Members are asked to support them as an entity and the decisions that they make.
Selection each week is a process of collaboration and one not taken lightly.
In midweek pennant, we are fortunate to have excess players, which means some players need to be placed on an emergency list each week.
Where possible, the committee will be fair to players and rotate this selection at the same time, trying to keep teams relatively stable, taking into account the fact that some players need to stand out from play for various reasons.
This is certainly not an easy process, and the committee ask for consideration and support.
If for any reason, you have a suggestion or concern, please speak directly to a member of the selection committee or the chairman.
The midweek selection committee consists of Brian Kinnane (chairman), Heather Curnick, Francis Keech and Kathy Williams.
