The final produced some magical bowling between the combinations featuring Daryl Cheeseman - Ken Rushbridge (s) against Garth Ebenwalder - John Berry, (s) all representing Eaglehawk, Bendigo and Golden Square clubs.
The pair of Cheeseman - Rushbridge gained the early initiative to open up a slender lead that they held for the majority of the 15-end final.
Their opposition Ebenwalder - Berry started to make inroads to reduce the deficit to trail 9-12 after thirteen ends, then proceeded to make up numbers to tie the game at 12-all after the 15 ends.
In the extra end, the head changed on several occasions before Cheeseman and Rushbridge were able to win the shot and take out the final 13-12.
A fantastic game of bowls to witness.
