At the completion of the day's play, there were four teams undefeated.

The local rink of Jim Harris, John Andrea, Owen McPhee, and Kalvin Stout (s) were runners up in the recent 60 and over competition after winning three games, and rolled five bowls within the area only to have the winners also rolling five bowls within, but had a resting toucher to win the "golden" chooks.

Minimal success, but she enjoyed the experience which was invaluable.
Hillier was runner-up in the recent BCG Novice Singles for the men.

Rochester Golf Club
Players in last Wednesday's 9 holes were lucky to get their game in before the expected wind change.
Although the course had recently been mowed, the dampness was evident earlier that morning.
In the conditions, most golfers still found it hard to play to their revised handicaps.
Bruce Bryant, Chris Trewin, Greg Watkins, and Chris Eeles all managed 19 Stableford points, and after an extensive count-back, Bryant was declared the winner over Trewin.
Unfortunately, under King Richard's rules, all four had their handicaps reduced for next week's game.
Robert Vise was the closest to the pin on the 12th hole.
Troy McInness and his team have sprayed the course, the rough, and all fairways to be mowed this week, and new oiled sand has been spread on most scrapes.
The course will be in ideal condition for this Saturday's three-person Ambrose to kick off the 2026 season.
Good luck to those members who are now down in Tasmania at the world-famous Barnbougle golf links course.
We look forward to seeing who has won the award for the most lost balls over those three days.
Reminder: subs are now due, with the cost of fuel and fertilizer increasing daily, your support in paying earlier would be appreciated.
