Pickleball

Echuca Moama Pickleball Club is currently running four weekly sessions.
Graded Social Sunday 4pm-6pm, Structured Social Tuesday 10.30am-12.30pm, Social Thursday 10.30am-12.30pm each at Echuca Stadium and Rated Competitive Friday 6pm-8pm at Echuca College Stadium.
Pickleball Power also runs weekly, social sessions on Mondays at Echuca Stadium from 1.30pm.
Sessions are also run weekly in Bamawm and Cobram.
Table tennis
Echuca Table Tennis Association began its most recent competition on March 4.
Competition nights are held on Wednesdays from 7pm at the Moama Sporting Complex Martin St.
Spare tables are available for social players and fill in opportunities for competition nights are available.
Calisthenics
Calisthenics is a performing art featuring elements of rhythmic gymnastics, theatre dance and costuming.
Rich River Calisthenics showcases the sport in Echuca-Moama running training throughout the week, for age groups from 5-and-under up to masters level at 26 years plus, building up to the annual local competition in September.

All-abilities football
The Echuca Moama Rockets give the region’s all-abilities footballers the opportunity to showcase their skills throughout the year.
The side begins 2026 training on Wednesday, March 18 from 5.30pm with registration from 5pm at Echuca South Recreation Reserve.
The clubs’ junior side takes on an Auskick style program throughout the year, while the senior team builds towards six carnival days per year, playing against other regional franchises, including one held locally in Echuca.
Croquet
Echuca Moama has two croquet clubs running two game days each a week.
The Echuca-Moama Croquet Club runs golf croquet at Echuca Tennis Courts on Mondays and Fridays, starting at 9.30am during the colder months.
Rich River Croquet Club holds golf croquet, the easier to learn and more forgiving variant of the sport on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the more complex association croquet held on Wednesdays and Saturdays all from 9am.
Martial arts
Wickhams Martial Arts runs an array of sessions at various age levels throughout the week in the disciplines of Zen Do Kai Karate, Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from their location at 81 Service St, Echuca.
Weekday classes range from 4.30pm to 7pm starts, while Saturday session are held in the mornings from 9am or 10am.
Muay Thai Lab is a newly-opened training school in Echuca, headed up by former Wickhams trainer Kiw Eikkasit at its Simmie St location.
The school focuses on Muay Thai and boxing, catering to beginners in adult or kids classes, but also boasts a stable of professional Muay Thai fighters.
Ishinryu Karate has recently moved to a new space, Masonic Hall, High St and is hosting core sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm, with kinder classes held from 5pm-5.45pm on Mondays.
Tennis
As the local competition season winds down, one of the signature tennis events of the season is approaching, the annual Easter tournament.
Like clubs across the country, Echuca hosts a tournament each year over the long weekend, with a huge range of grades and classes across singles, doubles and junior events.
Bowls
With the pennant season over, bowls carnival season is approaching with annual tournaments to be held in Echuca-Moama
A packed week of events is on the horizon at Echuca Bowls Club, with nine straight days of competition, in various formats, to be held from April 30 to May 8.
The following week Moama Bowling Club is in the spotlight for its $50,000 carnival, with events from May 11 to 17 held across venues in Moama, Echuca, Rich River and Mathoura.
Clay target shooting
Echuca Clay Target Club boasts a state of the art, competition range at its location at 205 Mitiamo Rd, Echuca.
The club gets together for practice sessions once a month during the winter season.
State and National level competition shoots are also a regular occurrence, attracting Olympic calibre competitors to the region.
