Well if it won’t rain it may as well be nice weather and Tungamah served up a cracker day on Saturday.
The Hoppers were not switched on at the start when Tunga kicked three early goals.
However, they were able to drag the game back through the pressure of Ryan around the ball and Shaw.
The Hoppers were getting looks at goal with no conversion whereas at the other end the Bears had multiple players creating space and had their kicking boots on with 80% conversion until the final break.
Throughout, Fountain was outstanding, Ridley and Clarke did their jobs down back but really a lamentable effort by the Hoppers.
Best: were Jarryd Fountain
Awards: Lake Mulwala Bakery - Zac Garner and Yarrawonga Hotel - Ben Douglass.

This was an even match all day with a point the difference at the first break and 12 at the long break.
Pinhead Bryce was mighty deep in the backline, Donno got a heap of the ball and found his forwards with good ball use, with Chungy on the end of good work to kick three goals for the afternoon.
But late in the match the Bears were just able to claw away and win by six goals.
The draw now opens up for the Hoppers but they need to put wins on the board.
