The Murray Bombers were downed by a rampant Bulldogs in round one by 22 goals, but Lees is confident the 2022 finalist can respond quickly.
“It was a bit uncharacteristic, probably just down to round one nerves,” Lees said.
“A few of the girls were a bit like ‘what happened’ but we’re staying positive.”
Echuca’s A-grade side is a new-look entity in 2023, boasting a raft of up-and-coming players from last year’s under-17 premiership side.
“We won’t be making any changes, it’s about believing in this group and I back the team we have right now,” Lees said.
Lees is tipping a “physical” four-quarter clash against a Kyabram squad also looking to rebound following a 31-39 loss to Rochester.
But for the Bombers to topple their Murray counterparts, they’ll need to achieve a six-year first and defeat Echuca for the first time in A-grade netball since round 11, 2017.
Echuca and the Bombers will do battle at Kyabram Recreation Reserve at 5pm tomorrow.
