There were 19 players who took part in Sunday’s indoor bias bowls at the Deniliquin RSL CLub.
There were two young ladies who were part of the winning team which was a fantastic sign for the sport moving forward.
Joy Howarth was also welcomed as a new player to the Sunday competition.
The winning combination of Ella Hipworth, Alice Petersen, Jenny Tonta and Wendy Earle won with three wins and 26 shots.
The runners-up were Tony Tonta, Dot Rose and Joy Mann with two wins and a draw on 22 points.
The raffle winner was Joy Mann.
The Thursday competition winners were Dot St Leon, Pat Hunt, Heather Wills and Alys Harding with three wins and 32 shots.
The runners-up were Wendy Earle, Jo Chick, Denise Imber and Joy Mann with two wins, one loss and 15 shots.
The raffle winner was Pat Hunt.
The resting touchers were Heather Wills, Judith Watson, Di Bode, kathy Jenkins, Jo Chick and Lerion White.
