Locals named for City vs Country series

The quartet each retain their place in the squad from last year’s event, with 16 players selected in both the men’s and women’s sides for 2024.

This will be the fourth edition of the event, which this year takes place at the Bendigo East Bowling Club from April 6 to 7.

The City vs Country Series is a major event on the Bowls Victoria calendar, providing an opportunity for players to make their case for selection in the state side.

Country scored wins in two of the previous three instalments, including in last year’s competition.
