Moama made light work of Rushworth in their round four clash, claiming a convincing seven-wicket win on Saturday.
Winning the toss and bowling first, Dylan Jenkins did the damage for Moama, taking 5-21 as Rushworth were bowled out for 90, Shannon Jarrett the top scorer with 32.
Rhys Shepherd (3-29) battled hard with the ball, taking all three wickets Rushworth managed during Moama’s turn with the bat, however an unbeaten 49 from Simon Porter sealed the deal for the Magpies.
Bamawm-Lockington United thrashed Kyabram Fire Brigade by eight wickets, showing their might with an all-round team performance.
Lucas Holgate (3-18) and Josh Cairns (2-4) were supreme with the ball for BLU, ending the Flames’ innings in the 25th over for just 74 runs, with Jarrod Chapman’s 17 the highest individual showing.
Darren Petersen (38) and Ben Reid (24 not out) wrapped up proceedings for BLU in the 19th over of their dig, sealing a resounding win.
Echuca were comfortable winners in their match against Elmore, cruising to a seven-wicket triumph.
Batting first, James Harney (45) and Tehumarie Callander (32 not out) did the bulk of the scoring as the Redbacks posted 6-121 from their 40 overs.
But Connor Shannon (45), Rory Carlile (27) and Nick Dolan (25 not out) scored efficiently to ensure the win for Echuca in the 27th over.
Stanhope claimed a six-wicket win in low-scoring affair against Northern United.
Batting first, the Goats managed 8-93 in their 40 overs, with Chris Hearn’s effort of 28 the top score, while Jacob Gillie was the best with the ball for Stanhope taking 2-12.
Bradd Stewart’s 33 went a long way to securing the win for Stanhope, as did Hamish Stewart’s 25, with the visitors chasing down the 94 required with 21 overs to spare.

Echuca South pinched a tense win over Rochester, reaching the required 129 to win with two wickets to spare.
Donald Young was the stand out for Rochy with the bat, pummelling 44, as Echua South’s Akila Senanayake claimed 4-25.
Nate Rasmussen threated to single-handedly win Rochy the match, claiming 5-28 and running through the Echuca South top-order, however an unbeaten 55 from number eight Daniel Stephens saved the day for the home side.
Leitchville-Gunbower successfully defended its total of 102 against Colbinabbin, bowling the visitors out for 88 in reply.
Jason Keath’s 38 not out was pivotal for Leitchy, who had five players dismissed for nought, while Brian Dwyer was very nearly the hero for Colbinabbin, taking 4-22 with the ball and smacking 45 of his side’s runs as they fell 15 short of victory.
Girgarre crushed Tongala by a mammoth 129 runs in their clash at Girgarre Recreational Reserve.
Posting 6-160 off the back of Mackenzie Cowley’s 44, Jonathon Sherritt (5-12) and Ryley Cowley (4-3) wreaked havoc with the ball for Girgarre, blowing Tongala out of the water, bowling them out for just 31.
Cooma and Nondies-Cohuna played out a thrilling encounter, with Cooma chasing down the 131 needed with just three balls to spare, securing a two-wicket win.
Jordan Mathers posted 39 as the top scorer for Nondies, while Jack Morris’ 5-26 helped bowl the home side out for 130.
A huge 74 not out from Hunter Fawcett at number three powered Cooma to the win, with Lachlan James’ 2-2 the best of the bunch for Nondies’ bowling attack.
Gus Underwood Shield C-grade
Tongala cruised to a big 85-run win over Echuca South, restricting the visitors to 7-161 after posting a mammoth 5-246.
Hayden Hicks was the top scorer, raising the bat after a sensational 116 put Tonny in the box seat, well supported by Hudson Parker who made 63.
Girgarre comfortably defeated Echuca by seven wickets, with Billie Gahan’s 37 the highest for the Kangaroos as they chased down the 73 needed in just 16 overs.
Kyabram Fire Brigade crushed Stanhope by 74 runs away from home, as Phil Carroll’s 45 powered the Flames to a total of 145.
Luke Donnell (4-13) and Matthew Fleming (4-14) made light work of the Stanhope resistance, as Kyabram bowled the home side out for 71.
The match between BLU and Moama was cancelled, while Nondies-Cohuna forfeit against Rochester.
Peter Raglus Shield D-grade
Echuca pummelled Bamawm-Lockington United in their clash, posting 1-113 in reply to BLU’s 9-112, with Ashley Smith’s 50 the top score for Echuca.
Rushworth proved too strong for Kyabram Fire Brigade, defending 6-182 by restricting the Flames to 6-120 in reply. Kyabram’s Michael Perrella was the top scorer in the match, retiring on 50 not out.
Cooma and Echuca South had their meeting cancelled, while Stanhope forfeit against Tongala.
