Moama has asserted its dominance over the division one competition in round two of the Campaspe Playing Area Midweek Pennant.

The side is currently tied with competition newcomer Kyabram at the top of the standings after both teams got wins on Tuesday.
Moama cruised to a straight sets victory over Rich River on its home deck, ploughing their way to success, 16-95 to 0-33.
Matt Robertson’s rink defeated Gary Radford’s 37-14.
Matthew Robertson, Cassandra Millerick and Cameron Keenan all skipped their side to victory over Gary Radford, Brian Trengrove and Bev Trengrove.
Kyabram also notched a significant victory at home, putting Rochester to the sword 16-65 to 0-44.

Giuseppe Greco, Maria Greco and Robert Mason all tallied victories over Richard Feuk, Robert Dennis and Leslie Walles’ sides.
It was a round for the home teams, as both Mathoura and Stanhope both secured wins on home soil over Echuca and Deniliquin, respectively.

Echuca’s Kerryn Evans and Mathoura’s Troy Mansbridge drew 20 apiece, while Mathoura’s Peter Pangrazio and Peter Holzer defeated Ian Page and Roma Opie 26-22 and 26-9 respectively.
Stanhope has clung on to a top four position on the ladder after taking down Deni 14-73 to 2-46.
Cameron Keenan skipped his rink to a 28-6 victory over the Bev Trengove-led side.
Stanhope skip Peter Myers made the great escape against Deni’s Stephen O’Brien 17-16, before Deni’s Paul Clear fired back with a win over Geoffrey Mulcahy 22-18.
A superb effort from the Stanhope team led by Jennifer Crilly got their club over the line against Criag Hillier 38-8.

Lower grades
In the lower grades, local teams found success in round two on Saturday.
Echuca got a win over Rochester at home 16-67 to 0-52 while Moama also tallied a strong victory at home over Deniliquin RSL 14-70 to 2-53.

Rich River suffered a loss to a dominant Kyabram outfit 14-61 to 2-55, who now find themselves on top of the division two standings entering round three.
In division three, Echuca kept the good times rolling with a win over Lockington 14-54 to 0-27 and Tongala kept its perfect start alive, taking down Moama 12-36 to 2-30.

Meanwhile, Rich River got on the board for the first time this season, taking care of business against Rochester 14-54 to 0-26.
This week’s division four action saw Tongala and Moama Green maintain perfect records, beating Kyabram and Stanhope 14-51 to 0-38, respectively.

It was a good week for Moama as its Black team also tallied a much-needed win over Rich River 14-46 to 0-36, while Echuca was bested by Lockington 13-38 to 1-26.
