Ultimate Week 2025 was broken into three standalone events, each held over two days.
As reported last week, Moama Black, consisting of Alex Marshall, Cassandra Millerick and Nathan Black, made the knockout stages in the first two events, first reaching the quarter-finals in event one and then the semi-finals in event two.
The trio couldn’t back up that performance in event three, but the other Moama side, Moama Green, made its first knockout round appearance of the week.
The team of Kevin Anderson, Ryan Burnett and Cameron Keenan got past Deer Park Club Gold in the preliminary round 69-51, but fell to Warilla Gorillas in the quarter-finals.
The Gorillas went on to win the event, the side’s second event win of the week.
In all three events across Ultimate Week, a Moama side was eliminated from the finals by the eventual event winner.
The Ultimate Bowls Championship is a fast-paced bowls format featuring a shot clock and alternate scoring.
