Junior netballers Abby Larkin and Coby Morgan claimed the 17-and-under and 15-and-under best-and-fairest.
Larkin won a thrilling count by a vote while Morgan shared her accolade with Rumbalara’s L’Val Turner.
The Pies duo will have another shot at glory this weekend as they both compete in grand finals.
In reserves football, Fraser Buchanan claimed the Damian Jones reserve-grade medal with 16 votes, one ahead of Mulwala’s Sean Robinson.
Buchanan split his time between the senior and reserve grades in 2023, booting 37 goals from his 13 games in the reserves, but it was his step into coaching that he appreciated.
“I enjoyed the year,” Buchanan said.
“I love seeing the juniors coming through, I helped out coaching the under-17s and got a lot out of that.”
Buchanan wasn’t the only Pies footballer to claim a best-and-fairest with Fred Peat re-affirming his status as one to watch in this Saturday’s under-14 grand final with a one-vote win.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Sheldon’s productive A-grade campaign was recognised with a runner-up placing in the league vote count.

The former coach and Pies centre placed runner-up alongside Congupna’s Morgan Zotti with 27 votes as Deni’s Rhiannon Maxwell claimed the top gong.
“It’s been a great season which is a credit to the team,” Sheldon said.
“As a netball club we’re really strong and proud. I had a few ups and downs but I just love playing and I was so happy to be out there.”
