Mulwala 39 def Moama 34.
Strong contest all day and the Lion girls came out a different team than that which played Moama in round 1.
Solid efforts all round, but the standouts were the defenders, strong and consistent all match.
Big thanks to Kerry Mac for supplying fruit and lollies all year. Bring on finals!!

A solid effort from everyone. After losing to Moama in round one by 35 goals, the Lions had a point to prove and wanted to let the ladders leaders know they meant business going into finals.
Each girl played their part, the B Grade just need to make sure they apply their brand of pressure for the whole 60 mins.
Looking forward to seeing how deep the girls can go into finals. Great game.

The girls started strong with winning combos from last week. Moama’s defence was strong so the Lions brought in tall shooter Kat to mix it up.
Addye fought hard in the midcourt and Shelly never stopped. Huge thanks to Keeley and Milla for stepping up and giving their all.
Thanks to all the girls for a great season and the supporters and crew that make each game possible.

Mulwala 14 def by Moama 82.
Last game for the season and the girls were primed and ready. With fitness levels at a peak, everyone had their heads up for a run in centre... ok maybe not!!
The ‘bibs behind the back’ method worked well to choose positions and this gave Megan the opportunity to deliver goal of the season (maybe century).
Solid as ever, Melissa smashed it, showing off her dedication to training by playing in every area of the court.
Toot finished the season well. Thanks for the season ladies.
Awards: Miss Dolly - Melissa Riches, Lake Mulwala Bakery - Beth Robinson, Mug - Megan Norrish.
Under 17s
Mulwala 10 def by Moama 75.
So this report is absolutely insane! Lily Cameron played shooter and whipped out a screen, Violet Elliot also played shooter and was slaying the drives.
Hannah Riches started in GD and absolutely smashed it with the defensive pressure.
Myley McGlynn in WA, dominated with hard strong drives and amazing passes into the goals.
Reese Sanderson was also in GS at one point and ripped out an amazing long bomb like Steph Curry. Jessica Linehan went out with style in GA when the 4th quarter buzzer went and slayed it with an amazing goal.
Milla Fletcher had super defensive pressure and slowed down the shooters. Kealy House, with an incredible transition from defence to shooter, dominated both ends.
Ruby Spiteri made herself known when playing GK on the tallest GS ever and she managed to get a lot of intercepts.
Well done girls.
Awards: Zambreros - Lily Cameron, Lake Mulwala Bakery - Hannah Riches, Food Mill on Bayly - Myley McGlynn.

A phenomenal effort by the Under 15 girls against top of the ladder Moama.
Everyone gave 100% for all four quarters. Charlotte and Emily were fantastic in goals with Roxy always an option in WA.
The growth the team has shown over the 20 home and away rounds is incredible. Bring on finals.

Under 13s
Mulwala 6 def by Moama 35.
The girls all played well and in the last half had a bit of fun with their positions. Chloe played a bit of GA and Charli played GD.
Milla went back to wing and Pheonix went and had a go at shooter. The girls played as a team and it was an awesome end to the season.
Awards: Zambreros - Claire Pearce, Paradise Palms - Charli Taylor and Lake Mulwala Bakery - Ruby Sneddon.
Under 11s
The Mulwala girls hardest game this season but all girls played exceptionally for the whole 4 quarters and never put their heads down.
Poppy and Nancy played great defence against quick shooters, with Rianna stepping it up at both ends. All the girls have improved out of sight since round one. Sally and Leonie would like to thank all 11 girls and their families for a wonderful season.
Good luck to the girls going into under 13 next season, the Under 11s will miss you.
Awards: Zambreros - Poppy Kirchen, Paradise Palms - Rianna and Food Mill on Bayly - Nancy Thomas.
