Echuca battled Euroa in Goulburn Valley League at the weekend, as part of a split round 13.

While the Murray Bombers had the wood over the Magpies in the football contests at Victoria Park, the netball court was a more mixed set of results.

Riverine Herald photographer Jordan Townrow was on the scene for the reserves football and B-grade netball clashes.

Thirds

Offence and defence were firing for Echuca in the thirds, as it kept Euroa to 2.1 (13) for the match, while racking up 15.11 (101).

The Magpies went without scoring in the first, while Campbell Orr, Bailey Shead, Hudson Kellett and Kaydn Mislicki hit the target for the Murray Bombers.

The second half was more comfortable as Echuca extended its lead to record a 55-34 win.
