Merrigum continued its unlikely run from sixth position in C-reserve, defeating Shepparton East 53-46.
The Bulldogs are now set to battle Tallygaroopna, looking to advance to a grand final showdown with Nagambie.
Merrigum also emerged from the 3-6 bracket in 17-and-under, defeating Stanhope 42-39 at the weekend.
The side will take on Rushworth in the preliminary final after the Tigers were unable to match Shepparton East in the qualifier, suffering a 38-31 defeat.
Rushworth will also need to get through the prelim in 15-and-under after going down 45-38 to Tallygaroopna.
Shepparton East will be the next assignment after the Eagles ended Girgarre’s campaign 40-38 in the elimination semi-final.
The Tigers and Roos faced off in 13-and-under, Girgarre prevailing 26-15 to end Rushworth’s season.
Next up for the blue-and-whites is Nagambie in the preliminary final, with the winner earn a place against Shepparton East on the final day.
All preliminary finals will be played at Central Park Recreation Reserve in Shepparton East on Saturday.
