Timothy Russell led the way for the Strikers with four goals to his name, while Duncan Moodie and Timothy Allemand also chipped in with one apiece.

The under-15 River Rats outfit’s rough start to the season continued in round two, being handled by Goulburn Valley Grammar School.
Echuca-Moama weren’t able to score all game, being handily locked up by GVGS, who piled on 13 goals throughout the contest.
Reuban David, Aidan Hamill and Finnian McLeod all scored three goals in the rout, with Jack Hamilton and Dougal McGregor chipping in with one each respectively.
The River Rats will back it up against Shepparton Christian College Lions in round three.
Both under-12 Echuca-Moama teams were in action, but neither side could come out with a victory.
Echuca-Moama White offered resistance against Goulburn Valley Grammar in its tight contest, put was unable to convert to victory, dropping the game 19-6.
Jack Thompson was the standout for the River Rats, bagging five goals in the loss, while GVGS player Genevieve Mayne had a field day with seven goals to her name.
Echuca-Moama Green managed to salvage a pair of goals thanks to Jamie Thompson in the side’s six-goal loss to Shepparton Christian College Lions.
The final score was 8-2.
Both sides will play in round three, with the Green machine taking on Shepparton Youth Club and the White team playing SYC.
