Ladder leaders Echuca 1 will head into the finals off the back of an undefeated season, boasting a 16-0 record.
The 2022-2023 premier hasn’t lost a game since round 17 last season, when it went down to LBU 2, and is in ominous form ahead of its sudden-death clash this weekend.
Awaiting them at Echuca Lawn Tennis Club will be Echuca 2, with the clubmates set to fight it out for a spot in the decider.
Runners-up to Echuca 1 last season, Echuca 2 has struggled in comparison this season, sporting a losing record of 6-10.
Echuca 1 holds the edge, winning each of the three matches the two sides have played against each other this season, and it will take a mammoth upset for Echuca 2 to triumph on Saturday.
Rochester 1 and Rich River will battle out their semi-final match-up at Echuca Lawn Tennis Club, with the host set to be the heavy favourite.
Rochy had the better of the regular season, finishing in second place with an 11-4 record, while Rich River’s 9-7 was good for third place.
These two sides matched up in the final round of the home-and-away season just last week, with Rochester logging a routine victory 8-79 to 5-75.
Including that win, Rochy has won three of the four encounters between the sides so far, with a 12-98 to 1-52 loss in round 11 the only blemish and the only time Rochester lost all season that wasn’t to the undefeated reigning champions Echuca 1.
Division two
Top of the table Rochester 2 (12-4) will look to claim its place in the final against fourth-placed Lockington-Bamawm United 2 (7-8)
In the other semi-final, Echuca 4 (11-4) and Echuca 6 (10-6) will face off for the other grand final spot.
