In the men’s B-grade, the second-placed River Rats dealt with Mooroopna Hockey Club 4-2 at the Shepparton Regional Hockey Complex on Saturday.

The A-grade men’s side was instead in action in the Regional Hockey League, playing a cross-league match against Sandhurst at Echuca College on Sunday.

The weather was inconsistent throughout the afternoon, a downpour threatening at times, while the sun was out in other periods.
While Cameron Kenley was able to get one on the board for the River Rats, Echuca-Moama couldn’t hold the Central Vic Hockey Association Club at bay and was defeated 8-1.

Echuca-Moama is winless from three matches in the RHL, and will again take to the field in the competition on Sunday, this time against GVHA opponents Shepparton Youth Club.
The game will again be at Echuca College on Sunday, this time part of a double-header that also includes the club’s respective B-grade sides facing off.
Echuca-Moama’s two women’s sides will both be in Shepparton on Saturday, Green taking on Strikers, and White facing off with Euroa.
