The Doctor delivers for Rich River

Temperature check: Peter Nesbitt led 28-2 after 13 ends of his match with Deniliquin’s Simon Chisholm on Saturday. Rich River is now in the preliminary final of the Campaspe Division one weekend competition.
Standing alone: Echuca, and skip Dennis Compton, will have to do it the hard way if they are to have a chance of winning this year’s premiership. They lost on the weekend, with Compton skipping the only rink win.
Tinning town: Barry Tinning, bowling as second for son Bradley, helped his rink to a narrow win in a see-sawing battle.

Deniliquin was left shellshocked on its home turf on Saturday when Rich River skipper, and Echuca GP, Peter Nesbitt delivered a near flawless display of lawn bowls and guided his team into a Campaspe weekend Division one preliminary final.
