It was victory at home for Divisions 4 and 5 against Tongala RSL on Saturday.

Also playing Tongala in round 10 of the Campaspe Valley Bowls Division’s weekend pennant was Division 2, who lost in the away game.
Tongala had 61 points while Deni’s Division 2 side was close behind on 58.
Tongala won comfortably on two rinks.
Tony Tonta with his team of Jacob Glenn, Cheryl Bradley and Archie Webster were the sole rink winners against Tongala.
Always in control, all players contributed in their strong win, 27-11.
Wayne Bradley, Rod Reid, Lindsay Dalzell and Alan Hodges led 14-10 after 15 ends, but crashed out of contention from that point on.
Tongala took the final six ends, while amassing a further 16 to run out comfortable winners.

The combination of Craig Taylor, Ian McKenzie, Ian Chessells and Jenny Tonta were leading 13-12 after 15 ends.
Tongala were much more composed from that point on however, picking up 12 shots on the remaining ends for an emphatic victory.

In Division 4, RSL finished with 51 to Tongala’s 19 after wins on both rinks for RSL.
Bruce Clancy, Peter Liefting, Sandra Hill and Peter Thommers had a strong victory.
They maintained a comfortable margin all day, cruising to an emphatic 14 shot victory.
RSL 25 def Tongala 11.
Jim Jenning’s team of Neville Austin, Brian Clancy and Ron Hulme won the first 15 ends straight to set up a very decisive victory.
Leading 23-1 at that point, they cruised home for a great 18 shot win.
RSL 26 def Tongala 8.
Division 5 had a win and a draw which ensured a comfortable overall victory for RSL.
RSL 48 d Tongala 39.
John Wilson’s team of Ron Marchetti, Miro Peterman and Callan Glenn were well placed at 16-6 after 12 ends, but resurgence from their opponents saw the margin narrow dramatically.
They led 20-17 after 20 ends but a three to Tongala on the last end resulted in a draw.
RSL 20 drew with Tongala 20.
Bruce Ferry, Robyn Ferry, James Rhook and Vic Whittaker led narrowly on 16-15 after 16 ends.
They stormed home picking up 12 shots over the last four ends for a great win.
RSL 28 def Tongala 19.
In Mid Week Pennant, which returned on Friday after a Christmas break, the Division 2 team went down to top side Echuca, at Echuca.
Despite winning narrowly on two rinks, a heavy defeat on the remaining rink saw RSL losing overall.
Echuca 61 def RSL 45.
Tony Tonta, Ian McKenzie, Ken Bowden and Glenys Chessells went toe-to-toe with their Echuca counterparts in a great battle.
The margin at any time in the game was two shots, and the teams were locked together 16-all with an end to play.
A single shot on the final end saw RSL home.

John Wilson, Craig Taylor, Miro Peterman and Lyn Hardcastle were six shots adrift after the 17th end, but a great finish saw them claim the remaining four ends and six shots.
But Echuca still got up by one shot.
Echuca 19 def RSL 18.
Wayne Bradley, Jenny Tonta, Ian Chessells and Peter Harris were still in with a chance despite trailing 9-13 after 16 ends.
However Echuca were much more composed in the run home, taking the final six ends and picking up 14 shots for a strong win.
