While the senior squads took a week off from regular season play for a festive gather round, the young stars of the Campaspe Tennis Association continued to fight for competition points.

In division A, two-time titleholder Tongala is again on track to make it a three-peat, improving to 8-0 with a 7-1 win over Rochy 3.
Tonny has only dropped four sets in the season so far.

Echuca 7 got the best of Echuca 6 in a local derby, 5-3, but both sides have work to do in the run home, several games back from the top four.
Elmore 1 downed Elmore 2 7-1 in another intra-club showdown, while Lockington-Bamawm United was defeated 6-2 by Rochy 4.

Current wooden spooners Rich River weren’t able to get a side together, conceding the points to Echuca 8.
Tongala currently leads Elmore 1, Rochy 4 and Elmore 2 in the top four.
In division B, Echuca 9 is leading the way, also moving to eight wins in a row after winning a showdown of undefeated sides over Rochester 5 by five sets to one.

Other results saw Echuca 10 down Colbinabbin 2 5-1, Echuca 15 beat Rochy 6 4-2, and Echuca 12 get the best of Elmore 3 5-1.
Echuca 13 took down LBU 3 5-1, while the result between Echuca 11 and Elmore 4 wasn’t yet available and Echuca 14 had the bye.

The packed 13-team competition sees Rochy 5, Echuca 13 and Elmore 4 following Echuca 9 in the top four, while three sides, Echuca 10, Rochy 6 and Echuca 15, are currently only kept out of the finals by for/against.
In division C, LBU 4 narrowly leads the grade by half a game, improving its game differential in a dominant 6-0 showing over Rochy 8.

Colbo 3 was too good for Rochy 7 5-1, while Rochy 9 had a similarly strong performance against Elmore 5, also 5-1.
Echuca 17 and Echuca 16 split the six sets evenly, but 17 narrowly got home 28 games to 27.
