Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Rohan Smyth shares what's ahead for the first half of this week's weather across Australia.
The forecast for Shepparton over the next week is as follows.
Tuesday, August 20 is set to be a cloudy day with a high chance of showers and thunderstorms, most likely in the afternoon and evening with a possible rainfall of 2 to 10mm.
The morning will start off with a minimum temperature of 8℃ and increase to a top temperature of 18℃ by the later afternoon before dropping to 11℃ by 10pm.
There will be a medium chance of showers on Wednesday, August 21, most likely in the morning and afternoon with 0 to 2mm of possible rainfall.
Similar daytime temperatures will persist with a minimum temperature of 8℃ starting the day off to a top of 18℃ in the later afternoon and dropping to 9℃ by 10pm.
More rainfall is expected for Thursday, August 22, with 0 to 5mm predicted and an 80 per cent chance of showers throughout the day.
The morning will start off with a minimum of 7℃ before reaching 16℃ by the late afternoon and dropping to 6℃ by the late evening.
Cloudy days will continue into Friday, but it seems the rain could stop with only a 30 per cent chance of rain expected.
In the morning, minimum temperatures will reach 3℃ and increase to 16℃ by 4pm and drop to 7℃ by the late evening.
Saturday, August 24 will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower, most likely in the morning to early afternoon.
The day will start with a minimum of 5℃ and by 4pm it will hit it’s maximum of 20℃ and drop to 9℃ by 10pm.
Sunday, August 25 will be mostly sunny for the majority of the morning but see a 50 per cent chance of rain with a possible rainfall of 0-3mm most likely later in the day.
The day’s minimum temperature will reach 7℃ in the early morning, before climbing to it’s maximum of 23℃ in the late afternoon and dropping to 13℃ at night.
