White House chief of staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer but will continue working at the White House during her treatment, US President Donald Trump says.

"Her Strength and her Commitment to continue doing the job she loves, and does so well, while undergoing treatment, tells you everything you need to know about her," Trump said in a Truth Social post.
Wiles managed Trump's comeback 2024 campaign and has been seen as one of his most important political advisers, running a more disciplined White House than in his first term.
The first woman to become White House chief of staff, Wiles spent decades as a lobbyist and political operative in Florida and led Trump's 2016 effort in the state.
"During the treatment period, she will be spending virtually full time at the White House, which makes me, as President, very happy!" Trump said on his Truth Social platform.
