As of 2pm Monday, May 18 the Moira Shire area remained at 11 confirmed COVID-19 cases with all 11 now recovered while the Federation Council area remained at seven; six of which have now recovered and one death of a Corowa resident.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Victoria now stands at 1567 (an increase of 6 from yesterday, Sunday May 17).
Of the total 1567 cases, 1439 people have recovered.
In NSW there are a total 3076 confirmed cases (an increase of 1 from yesterday).
Of the total 3076 confirmed cases, 2612 have recovered.
The number of people who have died in Victoria from coronavirus remains at 18 with Victoria’s last recorded COVID-19 death was on April 28.
NSW total number of Coronavirus deaths confirmed now stands at 48 after a male in his 60s with confirmed COVID-19 passed away in Concord Hospital. He was linked to a confirmed case.
More than 345,000 tests have been conducted to date in Victoria. In NSW more than 371,881 have been tested.
Authorities remind people there are only four reasons you should leave your home: food and supplies, medical care and care giving, exercise, and work or education.
