In the under-17s, the EDNA side compiled a record of 2-3, finishing fourth in the division and making it to the semi-final stage.
In the under-15s, three EDNA teams took part.
Echuca Navy, playing in the top grade, managed 2-4 from its six games, scoring fifth place.
In the two reserve grades, Echuca Diamonds also came fifth after posting a 2-3-2 record, while Echuca Gold made it to fourth with a record of 3-3-1 from its games.
In the under-13 top grade, Echuca Blue finished seventh after three wins and four losses in its seven matches, while in the reserve grade, Echuca Yellow scored a single win, finishing seventh at 1-6.
“For our first tournament, I think all the coaches would be pleased with how the teams went in their first real hit-out,” EDNA vice-president Betty McCoomb said.
“Everyone had some wins and our under-17 side made the semi-finals, so that was a plus for the day, and the other teams were all competitive in their different sections.”
EDNA plays in six tournaments throughout the year, with the next one on Sunday, April 21 in Wangaratta.
