The Yarrawonga Mulwala Waterfest was again popular last Saturday and will continue this Saturday as a result.

The fifth Waterfest, which was held at the Yarrawonga Yacht Club attracted more than 100 people of all ages wanting to try out canoeing.

Yarrawonga Mulwala Canoe Club Coach Tim Roadley said the Waterfest attracted interest from both locals and visitors.

“The day was an opportunity to try a variety of on-water crafts such as kayaks, SUPs and sit on tops.

“We are very lucky to have a variety of water-based boats for people to try out which participants took advantage of.

“I would like to thank the team at ValleySport who also provided some fun activities for the kids.

“A big thanks also to Yarrawonga Mulwala Canoe Club members for their assistance and coaching on the day,” Tim said.

Tim said by popular demand he will be again at the Yacht Club from 4-6pm this Saturday for those who want to try out kayaking.
