The activities on this final day of the Year 12s’ formal schooling included “Muck Up Morning” where the students dressed up and then paraded through the school, while younger students stood outside their classrooms to watch the colourful (and noisy) parade come past.
The valedictory assembly was next, where the Year 12s were formally farewelled.
Tutor group teachers made the roll call for the last time, and awards were presented to the students, including Year 12 valedictorian Lucy McCormick.
The assembly was live-streamed to parents and families, since only Year 12 students and their teachers could attend.
Upon finishing the valedictory assembly, younger students formed a “guard of honour” through which the Year 12 students marched, led by the MAG Drumline.
