The achievement was announced at the national conference in Perth last month.
“It gives recognition to our team,” said owner and director Mel Slattery.
“It recognises the importance that we place on all our customers.”
The award is given based on a team’s ability to deliver excellent levels of customer service.
This is derived from customer feedback the business receives through the O’Brien Group customer surveys and online reviews.
Geoff Slattery, who also owns the business, thanked “all the customers who responded to our surveys” for their positive feedback and who “supported” them.
The criteria also evaluated the level of training and processes that are focused on improving the customer experience.
O’Brien Plumbing’s Clayton Zanella said it was because they “have a team who are keen to participate in training opportunities” that they do so well.
He stressed how “the importance to keep up with latest regulations in such a highly regulated industry.”
The Echuca-Moama team was one of 130 eligible to win the award.
“We firmly believe that out staff are the driving force behind our success,” Mr Zanella said.
“We couldn’t receive this award without our magnificent staff and their positive attitude and dedication.”
