On Wednesday, a good field of 16 played organiser King Richard’s mystery draw for partners over the back nine for stableford aggregate.

Runners-up were Wayne Williams (20) and Tim Quinlan (18), total 38 points.
Next best were the teams of Hicks and Eeles (37), and McCormack and Campbell on 36 points.

In strong winds and at times heavy rain it was no surprise to see the big hitters prevail last Saturday.
Playing par at any time is difficult enough for many, but Jake Wright didn’t have any issues with the conditions.
Wright’s +2 was easily the best, from president Leigh Hicks -1 on a countback, from Lockington visitor Steve Holt and captain Darren White.
Next best were the following players: Robert Vise, visitor Warwick Holt and Laurie Radley, all on -3.
Troy McInnes was nearest on the fifth, Steve Holt (eighth) and Chris Eeles was the other nearest-the-pin winner for his second shot to the ninth.
Captain White thanked the Lockington visitors Steve and Warrick Holt and Leigh Millard from Neangar Park, who all enjoyed the dry fairways, although the sudden downpour over the last few holes was not welcomed.
Pizza will be served after the three-person (any combination) ambrose event on Saturday, July 22, and captain White would appreciate approximate numbers prior to the event.
