The Rochester Senior Citizens club kicked off the Easter celebrations early with an Easter bonnet-themed high tea.
Club members arrived at the senior citizens clubrooms on Wednesday, April 1 wearing bonnets of all shapes, sizes and colours.

Tables were set with fine china teacups and delicate plates, complementing a delicious spread of cakes, scones, party pies and quiches
The highlight of the afternoon was the best bonnet competition.

After much deliberation, the judges crowned Bev Benson the winner for her stunning floral masterpiece.
Guests also had a chance to try their luck with raffles and a lucky door prize, adding to the day’s excitement.

The club's vice-president Rose Williamson said it was an enjoyable day for all.
“There was plenty of interaction among members, making the day feel warm and engaging,” she said.
