Competitors, crews and their supporters from across Australia will take part in the event, which will also serve as the Victorian Super Sedan Title.
Queensland’s Matt Pascoe and Matt Williams, the current Australian one and two respectively, will be two of the country’s hardest competitors battling it out on the track.
But they will face tough challenges from former Australian title holders Callum Harper (Tasmania) and Mick Nicola Snr (Victoria).
Harper also won the last Victorian title to be held at Heartland Raceway back in 2019.
The defending Victorian title holder Mick Nicola Jnr and Heartland’s own five-time Victorian title holder Lucas Roberts will also be keen to take home the trophy, as will any of the other 20 competitors that will make up the 26-car field in what amounts to the largest Victorian title in some years.
NSW driver Tyson Moon has already tasted success at Heartland Raceway this season, taking out the Victorian Super Sedan Association's Pointscore Round.
Racing will be held over both Saturday and Sunday nights, with heat racing on Saturday night and the 50-lap final on Sunday night.
Support events will be AMCA Nationals over both nights, with VSC Sports Sedans on Sunday night too.
Heartland Raceway management began plans to host an annual event for Super Sedans following the outstanding success of the SSA National Super Sedan Title in 2019, put the idea was shelved during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Three years later the North South 50 will finally kick into gear, with plans for the event to be contested annually at the venue.
