Blake Botanic Reserve beautified

A wonderful crowd attended the Blake Botanic Reserve restoration project opening in west Deniliquin on Wednesday.

Project partners, special guests and the general public were invited to tour the improvements implemented by Deniliquin High School Year 10 students in conjunction with the Kolety Logoons Landcare Group.

Using a $5000 grant from Murray Irrigation Limited, it has included the establishment of an outdoor classroom and picnic tables for all to enjoy.

Deniliquin High School principal Glen Warren and Edward River Council Councillor Harold Clapham.

The crowd utilise the newly installed seating to take in the opening ceremony.

A morning tea was provided by Deniliquin High School’s Year 9 and Year 11 hospitality classes.
