Justin Hatfield will step into the role, taking over from outgoing president Ash Byrne, who is stepping down from the position.
Byrne has spent the past five years in the top job at Echuca, overseeing the club’s first senior men’s football premiership in 20 years this season.
Byrne played in Echuca’s previous grand final victory in 2002, and will remain on the committee in 2023.
Hatfield was on the committee in 2022 and has been the president of Echuca Junior Football Club.
An Echuca local, Hatfield also pulled on the jumper as a Murray Bomber during his playing career.
Also at last month’s AGM, Echuca FNC locked in its other committee members.
Alongside Hatfield and Byrne, Serena Morley will be the club’s secretary, with Simon Eishold the head of the football department.
Sam Kennedy will oversee health and wellbeing, Kathryn Douglas is the head of women's football and Stuart Addicott will oversee junior football.
Craig Canham is the head of sponsorship and marketing, and Mick Deola is in charge of membership and communications.
2022 was a year to remember for Echuca, with the Murray Bombers winning five Goulburn Valley League premierships in football and netball.
