People are encouraged to come and find out about mental health, dementia, alternative health support and assistance and tips on how to support loved ones.
Attendees can also find information about volunteer opportunities in the district.
There will be multiple exhibitors for health, wellbeing and support as well as fun activities for the family, live music, a magic show, a jumping castle, zorb balls and a free barbecue.
There will also be a diabetic cooking competition, where people are encouraged to enter diabetic slice, cake or muffins to be judged on the day.
Entry forms with rules can be obtained from Lockington and District Bush Nursing Centre or Lockington Neighbourhood House.
Lockington Neighbourhood House co-ordinator Terri Hateley said it was a casual day for people to get the information they needed with no pressure.
“There are lots of issues in the community related to dairy farming and impacts of the drought at the moment,” she said.
“It’s a bit of support for people and a chance for them to get the information they need.”
It’s on from 10am to 2pm at the Lockington Recreation Reserve on Burns St.
