And, according to the park’s boss, is expected to take the facility from ‘‘strength to strength’’.
The passionate animal lover joins the park from Werribee Open Range Zoo where she worked as a keeper and safari guide after graduating with a degree in Zoology from Deakin University in 2015.

‘‘It’s only been a few weeks but I’m really enjoying working at Kyabram Fauna Park and it already feels like home,’’ Ms Keele said.
‘‘I’m passionate about community conservation and love educating people about what small steps they can take that will have a positive impact on the environment and wildlife.’’
Ms Keele will spend most of her time in the mammal department but will also help deliver the park’s education program where she will teach school students about native animals, flora and conservation.
She grew up in Echuca and enjoys equestrian activities including campdrafting and training problem horses.
Kyabram Fauna Park general manager Lachlan Gordon said Ms Keele was a fantastic addition to his keeping staff.
‘‘Our keeper team is going from strength to strength with the appointment of Zoe, who will join Kayla Cook in our mammal department,’’ Mr Gordon said.
‘‘We’re excited to add a keeper of Zoe’s calibre to our team and I’m looking forward to seeing what her passion and enthusiasm for wildlife and education can bring to our park.’’
